Both offer all-wheel drive, sleek design, and loaded tech—but which one hits your sweet spot? Let’s take a closer look.

View 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron

Head-Turning Power & Performance

The Audi Q6 e-tron delivers 456 horsepower with 631 lb-ft of torque thanks to its 340-kW motor and advanced 100-kWh lithium-ion battery. The BMW iX xDrive50 pushes out a bit more with 516 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque, powered by a 385-kW motor and a 111.5-kWh battery. Both SUVs feature a 1-speed automatic transmission and standard AWD for that smooth, confident drive no matter the weather.

Range Anxiety? Not Here

The Audi Q6 e-tron gives you an estimated 494 km of driving range on a full charge, while the BMW iX stretches slightly further with a range of 521 km. Charging up from 10 to 80% takes only 21 minutes on the Q6 e-tron with a public DC fast charger. The iX’s onboard charger is a bit more robust at 11.0 kW, though its full charging time at 120 volts is significantly longer at 114 hours compared to the Q6’s 10 hours.

Smart and Stylish Inside and Out

The Q6 e-tron features a 11.9-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and leather-trimmed seats. The iX leans more high-tech with a 14.9-inch touchscreen, though it uses synthetic leather for seating. Both offer heated, power-adjustable front seats, but only the Audi throws in memory seat adjustments, a refrigerated storage compartment, and a garage door opener as standard.

Space to Move

In terms of cargo space, the Q6 e-tron offers between 526 to 1,529 litres, while the iX edges it out slightly with 500 to 1,750 litres. Still, both SUVs give you versatile room for gear, groceries, or a week away. The Q6 can handle up to 1,411 pounds, while the iX is rated for 1,197 pounds, while the iX is rated for 543 kg—so Audi has a bit more pulling power in its corner.

Efficiency That Makes a Difference

When it comes to how far your charge takes you, efficiency counts. The Q6 e-tron achieves 2.3 L/100km in the city and 2.5 on the highway, averaging 2.4 L/100km combined. The iX lands at 2.9 L/100km across all categories. That means the Q6 offers better efficiency, especially for drivers who split time between city and highway routes.

Tech That Has Your Back

You’ll find front, side, and side-curtain airbags in both, but the iX adds knee airbags. For visibility, Audi includes a 360º camera and auto-dimming mirrors, while BMW opts for radar-based sensors and leaves out a few features like the garage opener and automatic door closing found on the Audi.
